Roberto Alcázar and Pedrín popularized in the 40s in their comics, this expression so deeply rooted for several generations and valid today. After it, we find an activity with the oyster from the Ebro Delta as the protagonist with a unique tasting menu. In the heart of the Delta Natural Park, an area declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, you can savour the two great “delicatessens” of the territory.
We’ll start the day with a boat ride across the Bay of Fangar to the mussel farm. There, you can visit the Museum of the Sea where ancient fishing gear, mussel and oyster farming and the history of the area are explained, accompanied by an audiovisual.
We will finish with the following pairing:
-Steamed mussels
-Mussels with sauce from the iaia Carme
-Mussel pâté
-Natural oysters
-Oysters with liqueur (cava or vodka)
-Oyster tempura
-Oyster au gratin
