Coastal river fishing

Description & booking

If you are a lover of sport fishing, we offer you the opportunity to go fishing at any time of the year, accompanied by expert professional fishing guides, great connoisseurs of the area who will make you live an unforgettable experience.

To give you an idea of the great fishing potential offered by our destination, we detail the most important species that can be caught:

Sea bass:

Sea bass is one of the most valued catches for its gastronomic quality. It is one of the regular guests of our waters and is usually fished throughout the year both in the sea and in the Ebro River, depending on the season. They are caught with spinning and boat anchored at any time, although at night more and larger specimens can be caught.

Golden:

When spring arrives, the capture of the first large sea bream begins. The fishing season for this species lasts until the beginning of November, when the first storms stir and cool the waters. However, you can catch sea bream almost all year round, in smaller quantities and sizes.

Mackerel:

The best season for mackerel is between May and November. To catch them, they sail through the sea looking for aviaries of seagulls and terns that dive to feed on small fish, the same as mackerel. This species is usually caught by spinning or trolling and usually weighs no more than a kilo each.

Palometas:

It is the largest catch you can make in our waters, with the exception of tuna. They are usually found near the mouth of the Ebro, although they also go upstream. They can weigh up to 20 kilos and are caught with spinning or trolling. They start biting in May. In summer they are caught less and in September and October their fishing is unforgettable.

Eggfish:

They are caught all year round. From May onwards they are more active and large specimens are caught. They are found at the mouth, upstream, or several miles from the coast. They snack with spinning and trolling. Its capture is spectacular. He jumps out of the water to free himself. At all times he presents great battle and is able to reserve incredible strength for when he is close to the boat.

Llampugas:

In mid-August, a true wonder arrives in the Delta: the llampuga. They are always on banks and jump at high speed above the surface, so they can be detected with binoculars. They hide under any natural or artificial obstacle and go crazy when they spot the lure. We’ll capture them by trolling or spinning.
