Kayak route to Buda Island

Description & booking

We will meet at the next meeting point: Buddha’s Barge.

The Migjorn River, which also gives its name to the beach, borders the Illa de Buda, one of the wildest areas of the Delta and inaccessible. Along the walk we will be able to enjoy the magnificent vegetation that can be seen on the banks of the river: reeds, reeds, eucalyptus among others, which give a freshness and are impregnated in our retina.

We will sail next to an old “Paso de Barca” known as “Barge de Buda” that was formerly used during the winter to access the island, when storms left its usual entrance located on the same beach inaccessible.

We will reach the Ebro, which descends meekly approaching its end, it is a place where nature is heard, smelled, felt.

We will return along the same stretch enjoying the tranquility and silence of this unique space.

This route is suitable for all audiences.
